p style="text-align: justify;">Over three weeks after the monarch of Ikuru town in the Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Aaron Ikuru, was kidnapped from his palace, his abductors are demanding N5bn ransom for him to breathe the air of freedom.

<

p style="text-align: justify;">The spokesman for the palace, Maurice Ikuru, who disclosed this to our correspondent on Wednesday, said the kidnappers made the demand when they contacted his family.

<

p style="text-align: justify;">“They have made contact. They said they want N5bn. But I have not heard anything from them again. But we are trusting God that very soon, he will be released,” Maurice said.
