Bandits Request N200m Ransom To Release 19 Villagers Abducted From Niger State Community

A N200 million ransom has been demanded by bandits who kidnapped 19 persons from Kutunku village in Wushishi LGA State of Nigeria State.

According to The Cable, on Monday, March 8, the bandits stormed the village in the early hours and took away 19 residents comprising of 6 women.

Well, the Village head, Ibrahim Yusuf has made it known that the bandits contacted them on call on Wednesday evening, March 10 demanding N200 million to secure the release of the victims.

Yusuf said; 

“They called us and asked for money. They are holding 19 people and they are telling us we should bring n200 million. 

“We don’t know what to do because we are all in confusion in the village now, including our wives and children; we don’t know what to do. Even if we sell our house, we cannot get that money.”
