Former England and Manchester United striker Andy Cole has praised in-form Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho after he scored for the second straight game for Leicester City in the Premier League but was quick to add that the 24-year-old lacked self belief, The PUNCH reports.

Iheanacho  scored the equaliser against Brighton on Saturday to boost their chances of a Top Four finish.

The Foxes are currently third in the EPL with 53 points from 28 matches.

The Nigerian striker, who is expected to be named in Nigeria’s squad for this month’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho, has now scored three goals in seven league starts for The Foxes this term.

“Iheanacho has quality, some magic, he’s got it but he has to continue to have belief in himself, which he lacked before,” Cole said during his post-match analysis with BTSports on Sunday.

Leicester City failed to finish in the Top Four last season, but Cole said they have another chance to do so this season.

“They have a good chance to finish in the Top Four this time,” he tipped.
