It was all joy and fun in the house of the Fergusons after their daughter Alicia passed her Matric exams with flying colours.
Yesterday Connie Ferguson took to her Instagram account to share a video where she is seen dancing with her little girl and her husband following her daughters success in her Matric exams. Captioning her post the actress penned a heartwarming message to her daughter and also urged those who didn’t pass all their subject to try and rewrite the exams.
Taking to her Instagram account the actress wrote:
“One of my greatest gifts and joys in life are my children, and my deepest wish for them above all else is to be happy! 2020 was a challenging year in every way to say the least, and I am just in awe of the achievement of the class of 2020 against all odds! Watching Alicia bravely face the unknown (COVID-19) to go to school to write her matric exams, each day coming home hopeful that her best was good enough, made me realise that we are raising a generation of warriors and leaders! The 98.07% pass rate of the class of 2020 is testament to that! What a time to behold!
@ali.ferguson_ To say I’m proud of you is an understatement! Congratulations my baby girl on your success, a pass in all your subjects! Your hard work and resilience has paid off! Now you can study towards any degree you want! The world is yours to conquer! As your family, you have our love and support now and always.
To those who were less successful, please consider rewriting subjects you feel you can improve your marks on. The worst thing to do right now would be to give up! Hope is never lost unless you stop trying so DON’T STOP! I wish you all the best for the future!”
