Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he has limited time to think about Fikayo Tomori’s progress on-loan at AC Milan due to the huge responsibility to move Chelsea towards a safe position in the Premier League. The German tactician stated this in an interview ahead of the team’s clash against Southampton today (Saturday). Recall that Tomori joined the Serie A giants in January until the end of the season, with an option for Milan to make the switch permanent for £25million.
However, Tuchel insisted that he’s delighted with his progress and will continue to keep a close tab on him. “To be very honest, I have not spent too many minutes thinking about Tomori, not because I don’t like him or I don’t see his potential but because there was simply not time. Every minute I spend here at Cobham is a minute for the guys who are here.
