A social media influencer, Oluwatoyin Bayegun, also known as, Woli Arole, has urged Nigerians to continue to obey COVID-19 protocols, saying this will help in overcoming the virus.

Bayegun, on the sidelines on his unveiling as a brand ambassador for a global trading platform, TigerWit, said obeying the safety guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control could not be underestimated.

He said, “We all have dreams and aspirations, for me, I feel that it is only the living that can achieve dreams. When the government is saying, beyond the masking up, use your hand sanitiser, make sure your environment is clean, check yourself regularly, it is not just for our own good, but for everyone around us.

“Some people may be asymptomatic and may continue to spread the virus if they do not obey the safety protocols. What if you infect someone with an underlining health condition? I think it is wise for everyone to stay safe at this period.”
