The General Manager of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency, Fatai Onafowote, has disclosed that 97 ministries, department and agencies of the state government would be added on the e-procurement platform.
Onafowote stated this during a sensitisation programme organised for the permanent secretaries of ministries and chief executive officers of some state-owned parastatal, organisations on the deployment of e-procurement solution modules to the public procurement process in the state.
The general manager appealed to the accounting officers of ministries, departments and agencies of the state government and service providers for more effective collaboration with the agency to enable it to discharge its services more effectively.
He said, “The use of technology has assisted the agency to successfully drive the business of the state government, and the 97 ministries, departments and agencies of the state government to be integrated on the e-procurement platform this year will be added to the 10 MDAs already on the platform and an average of 24 of the 97 additional MDAs to be added will be integrated into the platform in each quarter of the year.”
