Boris Johnson urged the UK to join in a 'national clap' to honour the life of Captain Sir Tom Moore, as MPs paid tribute and held a minute's silence for all Covid victims. The PM praised Moore for his optimism, and encouraged everyone to clap for Moore and for health workers at 6pm on Wednesday
