Sanwo-Olu hails Oyinlola at 70

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated a former military administrator of the state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, on his 70th birthday.

Sanwo-Olu, in a statement on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, described the former governor of Osun State as an elder statesman, whose life was worth celebrating for his consistent commitment to public service as a military officer, administrator and politician.

“Prince Oyinlola is an epitome of dedication and selflessness in service. He used his elevated positions in the military regime and civilian administration to uplift the standards of life for the people he served,” he added.

Sanwo-Olu in another statement also commiserated with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on the death of her mother, Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo.
