Etuk Monday is an afro-rap fusion artiste who has seen his career grow significantly in the past few months.

Originally from Akwa-Ibom State, the artiste grew up in Benin City, the Edo State capital, where he started recording music at the age of 16.

In early 2020, Kaptain had released an Extended Play album titled, Kapacity, and it has attracted a lot of streams online. Meanwhile, his latest EP titled, Love Ship, was released in December 2020 and it contains just two songs. Since its release the EP has been gaining momentum on digital platforms, even as some fans wondered why the album contained only two songs.

Speaking with Sunday Scoop, Kaptain noted that he wasn’t surprised with the reactions the album had got as the move was intentional. “Before my debut album is released, I want to whet the appetite of my fans.”

The artiste also stated that he had begun work on his album. He added, “Everything is set for me to commence recording the album. I cannot share the title now but trust me, it is going to be filled with exciting music and sounds. That’s what I owe my fans.”
