Insecurity: Oyetola, Alaafin meet behind closed doors

Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, on Sunday, visited Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to discuss emerging national issues with him.

The meeting held at Osun Government House, Oke Fia, Osogbo in the afternoon was closed to the media.

A statement that accompanied some pictures of the Oba Adeyemi and his host, shared on his social media platform, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ismail Omipidan said, “The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, on Sunday visited Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to confer with him on emerging national issues.

“On hand to receive him at the Government House, Osogbo, were the First Lady, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola, and the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed Ayotunde Olabomi,” it added.

Although Omipidan when contacted told our correspondent that the meeting was held behind closed doors, it was however gathered that at the meeting, the two men discussed issues bordering on security.
